30 Best Shows in Vegas that You Must See

Share the love!

Of all the amazing things to do in Vegas, you’re truly missing out if you don’t see at least one show while in town.

The shows in Sin City are just as good, if not better, as productions you can catch on Broadway.

And the variety? Well, there’s definitely something for everyone!

But which productions should you see? Here are the 30 best shows in Vegas.

Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas

I’m a big fan of Cirque du Soleil’s fantastical, mystical, awe-inspiring productions.

Cirque du Soleil has a heavy presence in Las Vegas, with 7 shows in rotation:

  • The Beatles LOVE
  • Mad Apple
  • Michael Jackson ONE
  • Mystère
  • O

I’ve seen O and Zumanity so far and was impressed with both. Unfortunately Zumanity has ended its run, but I’ve heard good things about Mad Apple, which took its place.

The only problem is that all of Cirque’s productions seem so interesting that I can’t decide which to see next!

You can get the best discounts on Cirque tickets right here.

Comedy shows in Las Vegas

Laugh ’til you have a six-pack at one of Vegas’ many comedy shows featuring comedians like Carrot Top, Ralphie May, or Eddie Griffin.

Looking to discover the latest comedic talent? Head on over to Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at MGM or Laugh Factory at Tropicana Las Vegas.

Male strip shows in Vegas

Seeing a strip show should be on your Las Vegas bucket list at least once!

If you’re in town for a bachelorette party or girls’ getaway, check out Magic Mike Live at the Hard Rock Hotel or Thunder Down Under at Excalibur.

The Chippendales revue at the Rio Suite Hotel and Casino is another classic male strip revue to consider.

Las Vegas burlesque shows

If you’re looking to take the “magic” home, check out X Burlesque University, where you can learn the art of burlesque from the women of the X Burlesque show.

Magic shows and magicians

Have your mind blown by some of the world’s best magicians, like Frederic Da Silva, Penn & Teller, Criss Angel, and David Copperfield.

Drag queen shows in Vegas

NOTE: Divas recently ended. Stay tuned while I scope out the best drag queen shows in Vegas!

One of the most famous female impersonators in Las Vegas is Frank Marino. Marino is best known for impersonating the late Joan Rivers.

You can currently catch his drag queen production, Divas, at The LINQ Hotel and Casino.

Musical residencies and tribute acts

Among all the fantastic concerts you can see in Vegas are several musicians who have set up camp, performing exclusively in Sin City. Some of these artists have been performing in town for years, while others are in Vegas for a limited engagement.

Check out artists like Boyz II Men, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, and Wayne Newton.

You can also catch tribute shows in Vegas for artists like Elvis, Prince, The Bee Gees, and The Rat Pack.

Variety acts and productions

Absinthe is no ordinary variety show, which is exactly why it is a must-see.

Staying true to its name, Absinthe, is probably what you’d hallucinate if you drank a glass of true absinthe.
